Cyberbullying
In the article called "Cyberbullying" the issue of bullying using the web is discussed. I knew that cyberbullying was around but I did not realize the significance it plays in many peoples everyday lifes. It has becom a pandemic around the world and caused many problems to occur. What I learned from reading this article is that it has had numerous affects on children. It has been tested thst children that have been bullied using 'cyberbullying" have had lower academic grades. They have also been reported to have lower self esteem, lower physical, and even lower mental health. Lastly and by far the worst outcome of all it has caused many adolesents to commit suicide. I also learned that cyberbullying consists of more then just using the web to harass others. People use other means such as emails and even cell phones. There are so many ways for these bullies to get in touch with their victims. If I could learn anything more on this topic I would like to learn what is being done to stop these bullies. I would also like to know what each individual state is doing for anti-bullying and if any laws are under way.
