Chapter 5 Reflection

Before reading this chapter I was unaware of how important it is to preview. I have been using this method for quite some time now without even realizing it. To preview is basically to just look for bold text such as titles/subtitles graphs, charts, and pictures. This method can be used for all types of writing including both textbooks, and even essays and articles. A few easy tips I learned are using back round knowledge and asking guide questions. All these steps are helpful when reading long length writings, whatever they may be.
